Childhood Center - Emmanuel Lutheran, Hampton, VA-Emmanuel is King of Glory’s sister congregation in Hampton. In 2012 they opened up a new Childhood Center to minister to the families of their community. Through their efforts many have heard and come to know of the saving mercies of Jesus. We continue to partner with them in prayer. For more information click here.
CRU (Campus Crusades for Christ) - CRU is now getting involved in much more than campus ministry. Don Hines is starting a new ministry to the armed forces through CRU and we are prayerfully and financially supporting him as he reaches out to the men and women who serve our nation, as well as their families. This ministry is supported by the Mission Dedicated Fund.  For more information contact Pastor Harmon.
Faith in Action - caring relationships between volunteers and members of the Greater Williamsburg area who are elderly, disabled or with long-term health needs. Faith in Action is a national volunteer movement that brings together volunteers from many faiths and the community. Our common mission is to help people the elderly, chronically ill and disabled adults maintain their independence and dignity by providing them assistance with everyday activities. Human Care Partnerships - is a working arrangement with the St. Bede Outreach Center to provide temporary assistance on a case-by-case basis to the homeless and working poor. Assistance is typically used by the Center to prevent utilities from being disconnected or to restore utilities, to prevent eviction, and to provide temporary shelter. KOG Welcome Center is a ministry of the church were we engage our guests and visitors and introduce them to King of Glory. If you would like to participate or have more information please contact Linda Falck.
LWML (Lutheran Womens Missionary League) - is a national ministry for the LCMS, with a chapter here at KOG. The LWML is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 65 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions. Operation Christmas Child - Every year we collect gifts for those in need throughout the world and send these gifts to children who would otherwise not receive anything for Christmas. For more information contact Terri Scungio.
The Salvation Army of Williamsburg is supported by the Mission Dedicated Fund to help finance feeding of the homeless and needy through the From His Hands organization and the local Salvation Army Case Management services . KOG also supports The Salvation Army by hosting a Christmas Angel Tree, the back to school Back Pack Drive and providing volunteers for the Christmas Kettle Bell Ringing campaign. Storybook Connections is a ministry to the incarcerated and their families in our area. Members of King of Glory take children’s books to inmates and have the inmates read the books into a recorder and then send the tape the inmate’s family. It is a fantastic way to share the love of Jesus with those in prison and their families.  This ministry is supported by the Mission Dedicated Fund. King’s Players is an intentional drama ministry at King of Glory. Their goal is to show Christ's love through theater and chancel drama. They generally offer two shows per year in the fellowship hall, with the majority of their shows being comedies. As a community theater group, the King's Players offer the unchurched the opportunity to visit King of Glory for a non-worship service event. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun - no experience is necessary to join the cast and crew. Contact Kelly Herbst
Young Life (yl) is a national non-profit ministry which offers high school students an opportunity to learn about the love of Jesus Christ for them. Nathan Havasy is the Williamsburg/James City County Area Director. Most clubs meet once a week at a home or a local restaurant. Many Young Lifers participate in camps offered both in the summer and over long weekends during the school year. The ministry is overseen by a committee made up of community volunteers who meet regularly to help with activities and fund-raising. Contact them here!
